In the spring of 2021, childhood friends from the DM(V) Christopher “Arquel” Rivera and Jacob Redding joined with longtime friend and Las Vegas native Eric Vattima in Nashville, Tennessee to create a new project driven by high gain guitars, heavy drums, and bluesy undertones. After a few months of writing this project became known as “eighty six press”
Pulling inspiration from the likes of Foo Fighters, Paramore, Cage The Elephant, Incubus, and The Black Keys, the band has embarked on a journey involving a string of studio singles, a late summer East Coast tour, and playing locally in the rock scene of Music City.
With their debut, “New Noise,” they strive to start making their mark on Nashville’s growing rock scene, while exploring the other surrounding cities of the South and East coast across 2022.
