EKUZ

Ekuz was established in 2019 by Polish guitarist and composer Igor Wiśniewski (currently touring with <a href="spotify:artist:0UirLOZvkWWLoWe93BEFjK" data-name="СОЮЗ">СОЮЗ</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2VmrEOFazTz6FHnERM2Af3" data-name="Gym Wisdom">Gym Wisdom</a>), who was 19 years old at the time. He invited two well-known creative individuals, <a href="spotify:artist:7Eib8qTH4TakxglcUtdBTN" data-name="Grzegorz Tarwid">Grzegorz Tarwid</a> and Krzysztof Szmańda, to help him explore the essence of instrumental compositions rooted in psychedelic rock, electronic, and ambient music.

As a trio, they recorded an album titled Gardening / Welding, which premiered in 2022. The album features renowned clarinetist Michał Górczyński (a member of <a href="spotify:artist:22QlzbrnUGIeXX758m6EKs" data-name="BASTARDA">BASTARDA</a>) and was co-produced with <a href="spotify:artist:2aKwu9zp7mgo9yyeY6duLn" data-name="Albert Karch">Albert Karch</a>—a producer, composer, and drummer—who helped shape the sound of Ekuz. The cover of the album was created by Macio Moretti, a notable musician from <a href="spotify:artist:2PQkXVCcXu0Nwf226rzGXq" data-name="Mitch &amp; Mitch">Mitch &amp; Mitch</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2OqlT9Qhr51AwLLKtTOwLb" data-name="LXMP">LXMP</a>.
