El Cuero is a Norwegian rock band founded in 2005. The members of the band have now made themselves noticed in several big Norwegian bands like Kvelertak, Spidergawd and The Dogs. They are one of Norway's prime interpreters of Americana and guitar-driven rock. From tender ballads with beautiful vocal harmonies, 8 minute long guitar solos, to full on rock and roll!! El Cuero have 7 studio albums on their conscience, and they have received standing ovations and fantastic reviews for their releases. Over the years they have been praised for their sparkling concerts, giving the band an early reputation as one of Norways hottest live bands.

El Cuero's eighth studio album "... are we done yet?" will be released on March 8, 2024. The album was recorded by Per Borten (Spidergawd) in his Sørgården Studio spring 2021. The album is once again a brilliant example of El Cuero’s ability to mix classic rock with pop melodies and hooks. A melting pot of rock and rough americana with west coast choruses. In addition, there is often a touch of pop nearby.

With roots in Kristiansund (a small town in the north west of Norway) and the rocky part of Americana, El Cuero are some of Norway’s finest rock bands. The band has had high placements on the national top-40 list, and the album ‘From Mountain To Sand’ from 2011 captured an extremely strong 3rd place, only beaten by Lady Gaga and Adele. In 2013 they were selected as special guests for their all time favorite, Neil Young in Oslo Spektrum.
