Nigerian, Lagos based singer El Manny real name Emmauel Lawal is currently one of the new faces of the Nigerian and African music industry. An electrifying singer, songwriter, performer and a conscious artist who comes from a beautiful small town called Ajaokuta (AJ) in Kogi State. A place where people with music dreams turning to reality seem like an impossible thing to do but bearing in mind that my consistency, resilience and commitment to my craft has surely changed the direction of my career which I am always going to be grateful for.
A graduate of Industrial Mathematics from FUTMINNA, Niger State who started making music and shutting down every show and venue right from his school days. A known name and a familiar face among his peers who has consistently followed his journey.
Describing his type of music as Afropop/Afrobeats with songs such as Cheque on it, Badder Than You, Eko and his recently released hit single "Your Matter"which has been widely accepted and cosigned by industry heavyweights in its short span of release. El Manny is fast becoming a force to reckon with and in no distant time become a household name and one of the torch bearers of the already successful Afrobeats wave globally. El Manny is that talent that is here to stay.
