Eleanor Academia began her professional music career as a musical director under <a href="spotify:artist:3rxIQc9kWT6Ueg4BhnOwRK">Quincy Jones</a>. That was just the start of her association with the greats in the music business. Over the years she has worked with people like <a href="spotify:artist:7guDJrEfX3qb6FEbdPA5qi">Stevie Wonder</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0kjCvirhAHq3JMex6bqEBZ">Carmine Appice</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4SoExBEXaG4mFV7FWpVW6n">Jake E. Lee</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3sgUnR8TF35euWEV07RPyO">Thelma Houston</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:3MdG05syQeRYPPcClLaUGl">Diana Ross</a>. Her first world tour was as keyboardist and vocalist for <a href="spotify:artist:0NyzfcGDZZ6GM25EBG9BYK">Ray Parker Jr</a>. She played percussion for <a href="spotify:artist:2BTZIqw0ntH9MvilQ3ewNY">Cyndi Lauper</a>. After two albums on major labels, Eleanor Academia chose to form her own record label, Black Swan Records. She assembled a stellar band by recruiting Tom Witt (<a href="spotify:artist:5CT7RBitS0e0u78T8tRBWQ">Missing Persons</a>) and <a href="spotify:artist:1mCoS77HcJzmDn2bMPDXGL">John Christ</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:34c4iQ5tkaZKu6Sv28BTde">Danzig</a>). The resulting album, Oracle of the Black Swan, received great reviews. ~ Gary Hill, Rovi
