Andy Herod, an American musician and artist, gained recognition on the indie rock scene as the frontman of The Comas before drawing attention with his solo project, Electric Owls. With the Brooklyn-based band The Comas, he achieved success through albums like Conductor (2004) and Spells (2007). In 2008, Herod left the band and moved to Asheville, North Carolina, where he launched the Electric Owls project.
