Electric Umbrella is a band made up of thousands of learning disabled people and professional musicians from all over the UK.
As a charity they are asking the world to think differently about disability and create amazing music experiences that challenge perceptions and shake the foundations of how learning disabled people are seen, heard and thought about.
As a band, well... Gigs, sessions, tours, festivals, albums... Electric Umbrella are doing it all!
Throughout the pandemic, Electric Umbrella created EUTV and continue to reach vulnerable people all over the world with their On-line program.
In 2023, 40,000 mainstream school children up and down the country experienced Electric Umbrella through their amazing education program that's been putting learning disabled people in the heart of the conversation and at the front of the stage and allowing young people to fully understand that the real is 'No Such Thing As Normal'.
