We make experimental music that takes you on a journey. We blend different genres such as neo-soul, jazz, trip hop, RnB, indie, electronic and ambience.

It all started in early 2021 with <a href="spotify:album:3xQgAyK27PjWUPnbEZl1Og" data-name="To See with One Eye">To See with One Eye</a>, our multi-genre 5 track EP reflecting on the challenges of the creative journey of our day jobs, produced by London-based, jazzy hip hop legend <a href="spotify:artist:3V35H6xv4eium9zl8CQeG5" data-name="Funky DL">Funky DL</a> . We then followed up with an 8-minute long trip hop story in <a href="spotify:album:1cQV6vmcwVI0mW4kYpeR68" data-name="Shadow of the Enchantress">Shadow of the Enchantress</a> in collaboration with lo-fi favourite <a href="spotify:artist:5cqVEHbieW14fL0GBelXDJ" data-name="Taiyo Ky">Taiyo Ky</a>. <a href="spotify:album:7lDOllQ9ejXTpi3y6XG4JE" data-name="Head into the Rain">Head into the Rain</a> is an uplifting new jack swing era-inspired RnB ballad with a title paying tribute to one of the songs of conscious hip hop legends <a href="spotify:artist:09hVIj6vWgoCDtT03h8ZCa" data-name="A Tribe Called Quest">A Tribe Called Quest</a>.

Speaking of tributes… our name itself is an homage to 8 of the <a href="spotify:artist:1h2OVSKRdJHnVqyCKqCLkf" data-name="?uestlove">?uestlove</a>-led <a href="spotify:playlist:36J5mEst8ols7ErapceUQh" data-name="The Soulquarians">The Soulquarians</a> who recorded at <a href="spotify:artist:776Uo845nYHJpNaStv1Ds4" data-name="Jimi Hendrix">Jimi Hendrix</a>&#39;s Electric Lady Studios in New York, and went onto making their mark on the music industry in the early 2000s.
