Elektrosía fuses elements of spoken word, electronic music, and audiovisual art to create their own concept: #poesíahabitada. An electronic sub-genre that inhabits the common space of Maijo Mora's poetry, Xácome’s DJ mixes, and the video mapping projections of artist Raquel Guerrero.
Their self-titled album is made up of seven poems written by the poet Maijo Mora. Only one track, "Cadencia," does not contain spoken-word, and has a faster electronic music beat. Their first album has 8 studio tracks and an electronic collaboration with the Majorcan group Jansky in the song "Piedras," with the chorus sung by Laila Malo. Other collaborators include: the Catalan artists Museless in "Resilencia", Lantalba in "Viviré 150 años", the producer Pedro Pina in "La Raíz". As well as with the Madrid producers: Guillermo Medín in “Rompecabezas”, Xácome Dj in “Cadencia”, and the producer and DJ Dinamite in “Bailaré contigo”. A variety of poetic collaborations are made, as if an "exquisite corpse", with the artists Fátima Delgado, Pilar Boadicea and Belén Berlín.
Elektrosía's DJ sets incorporate their poetic references: Gil Scott-Heron, Kate Tempest, Plath, Anne Clack, and the Beat Generation, among others. Their live performances use synthesizers and experimental techno samples to turn your stage into dynamic, ephemeral, and highly organic objects.
