If you search the name “Elena Siegman” online, you’ll quickly learn two things: she is beloved by fans around the world as the vocalist for numerous zombie metal songs featured in the Call of Duty series, and she is a pioneer in the video game world as a producer and high-ranking executive in a male-dominated industry. However, digging deeper reveals Elena the solo artist, a singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and gaming veteran now focusing on her music career. Previously, she released the alt-country EP "The Mighty," and she is now set to release "Cover Me," an album of imaginative renditions of her favorite songs. Elena, best known for the track “115” from Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombie mode, has also appeared with her Boston-based all-girl punk band Vagiant in Guitar Hero II and Rock Band. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she studied classical piano under Delores Rhoads and eventually moved to Boston to join Harmonix, where she merged her passions for music and gaming. Elena’s debut EP "The Mighty" showcased her smoky vocals and reflective lyrics, foreshadowing her eclectic upcoming album "Cover Me," which reimagines songs from various genres with her unique touch. Embracing an artistic rebirth, Elena is dedicated to her music career, stating, “I’ve realized it's time for me to give myself the help I give to others to realize their artistic visions—I finally made the decision to just do it.”
