Eli Brown is a worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist with a mission to create an atmosphere where people encounter the presence and the power of God. He grew up in the Church and was called by God into worship ministry in 7th grade at a church summer camp. Since then, he has had a heart to build worship teams and develop leaders who have a heart for serving the house of God. He sang on worship teams through high school and in college at Oral Roberts University, where he graduated in 2022.
He loves to sit at his living room piano and sing worship music. He believes that those moments, when it’s just him and the Lord, fuel the moments when he’s leading in front of the crowd. He desires his worship to be Spirit-filled and Spirit-empowered, and he often ventures beyond the written song into spontaneous worship as he leads.
Eli joined James River Worship in 2022 and made his debut on the song “Stronghold Walls” which was released world-wide on March 7th, 2025. Eli is passionate about developing the next generation of worship leaders and musicians particularly through James River College.
Eli and his wife, Avery (Director of James River College), currently reside in southwest Missouri with their dog, Archie. He is the worship pastor at James River Church in Ozark, Missouri under the leadership of pastors John and Debbie Lindell. He is passionate about serving in the local church and seeing lives touched for the Kingdom of God.
