Elisha threw himself into the industry in 2013 as he decided to follow his dream and further his studies at the International College of Music Malaysia (ICOM), successfully completing the course with a BMus (Hons) in Professional Music. A decision that changed his life.
Five years in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, known regionally as a melting pot of cultures not only garnered him a certificate but invaluable skills and life experiences that will remain for the rest of his life. The thirst for knowledge put him in the position of a producer, composer, arranger, instrumentalist and an artist in his own right.
His skillset calls him to various needs in the music industry. Flexibility and an open mind allows Elisha to instil creation regardless of the genre. As a result you will find him comfortably sitting in a studio composing for film-scores as he is on the bass guitar in an impromptu jazz gig. The advent of communications technology sees him working as a music producer and composer with people across the world. He is also an award-nominated artist with Bornean ambient-pop band Avery Fos.
‘Work stops when the hand stops’ is a daily mantra for Elisha as he continuously hone his craft and skills as a musician. Skills will always be understood as a powerful asset yet being in the right headspace and being ahead of the game keeps Elisha on his toes, ever ready to pounce on any opportunity that will fuel his passion for music.
