Elizabeth Lucy is a singer/songwriter from London, England. She loves writing music, talking about music and really loves music okay? She originally started uploading her songs to YouTube as a teenager and has since moved towards writing for other artists. She believes there is a song for every occasion, and if she can't find one, she'll write one.
Elizabeth's next release on 29/1/21 Didn't See It Coming is a cathartic song about making the hard decision to cut someone out of your life. Coming from a choral background she loves to use the voice to express her songs and have vocal heavy tracks with big, layered harmonies. Her mission with these two songs was to show her vision from her sketches actualised into fully-produced tracks. ‘Didn’t See It Coming’ has a more relaxed Pop-R’n’B feel, taking inspiration from artists such as Mahalia and Jarreau Vandal. As well as a more indie feel, Elizabeth loves a big chorus and always takes inspiration from big hit writers such as Max Martin and Adele.
