From the moment she first breathed, Elizabeth Sanchez proved to be a fighter, clinging to life. During childbirth in Cuba, she suffered from the meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS), which brought three cardiorespiratory arrests. Her lungs had disappeared in the X-rays due to the high concentration of meconium in them. She was rushed to be connected to a pulmonary ventilation machine, but she goes into a coma for 28 days. When all was lost, only faith stood strong. At an early age, she learned to cope with her intellectual disability – official diagnosis – and developed a noble and graceful spirit. At the age of eleven, the family’s move to the United States marks the beginning of a new chapter in her life. In 2016, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, as a specialist in vocal performance. After graduation, she joined the Miami Opera participating in the opera "Carmen." As a solo artist, Elizabeth completed her first album, “Hope is Born." “Hope is Born” is the compilation of her life and her victories over hardships and the verdicts of men; it is the demonstration of the power of faith and prayer to change logical and ordinary predictions into something extraordinary and full. In 2020, the inspiring story of Elizabeth and her music has reached millions of people in Latin America, Spain, and the United States. Elizabeth's story was broadcast on national television in the United States on Univision's "Primer Impacto" program.
