Erica “E.Lizé” Jones is a trained visual artist, that paints portraits and scenes dedicated to the African-American experience. E.Lizé’s goal is to bridge the gap between predecessors and successors in order to remain a catalyst in preserving Black culture and Black history.
Born in Hampton, VA, yet raised in Aberdeen, MD, E.Lizé draws inspiration from all over, with a lot of her inspiration stemming from Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Blaxploitation, and how those that came before us paved the way that granted the space and opportunity for us to show up in executive spaces in a way that we did not and/or could not before.
Also an emcee, E.Lizé uses the mic to channel experiences from the depths of her soul - delivered with dominance and aggression that demands to be heard, with her influences being notable in her delivery.
