Ella Beckham

Ella Beckham may only be 14 years old, but she has already accomplished more than most artists twice her age. In fact, there isn’t much that this singer, songwriter and musician can’t do. She began singing almost as soon as she could talk, started taking vocal and piano lessons shortly thereafter, and later learned to play the guitar and bass. She is a prodigious songwriter, and at age 11, one of her songs landed her a coveted spot on iTunes’ Featured New Artists List. Now that she is a few years older, she has returned to the music scene after penning a brand new single, “Now that I’m Happy.”

“Now that I’m Happy” isn’t your typical break up song. Instead, it is a refreshingly authentic account of finally feeling free after shedding the weight of a failed relationship. For the single, she teamed up with GRAMMY nominated producer Brad Hill (Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne, Kameron Marlowe), and together they created a song that is delicate and vulnerable, yet soulful and raw. “Now That I’m Happy” perfectly highlights Beckham’s textured ethereal vocals, and the complex and emotional lyrics showcase Beckham’s wisdom and maturity well beyond her years.
