Ella Rings is impossible to miss. Born and raised in Kigali, Rwanda, the 23-year-old artist grew up on the powerful voices of Miss Jojo, Kadja Nin, Lauryn Hill and Rihanna. These women shaped her view of music as bold, emotional, and beautiful. That blend of local soul and global influence lives at the heart of her sound today.
She describes her music as Afro Soul. Her voice is raw and fearless, and her songs turn vulnerability into something strong. Ella speaks directly to her generation, especially young women learning to find their voice and own their stories.
In 2025 she introduced herself with her debut single La Vie Est Belle, a track that set the tone for her sound honest, reflective, and deeply personal. Since then she has collaborated with rising artists across Rwanda and is carving out her own lane with each release.
