Ellie Green

Ellie Green is a singer-songwriter from Kansas who has been singing since she was six years old and writing songs since fifth grade recess. Her first single &#34;Cheshire Cat&#34; was initially written on her bathroom floor with her acoustic guitar in 2015. Since then it has evolved into a reflective and empowering story of someone taking back control of their life from experiences that have held them captive. Her inspirations that have led her to where she is now are artists like <a href="spotify:artist:1cZQSpDsxgKIX2yW5OR9Ot" data-name="Lennon Stella">Lennon Stella</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:5sXaGoRLSpd7VeyZrLkKwt" data-name="Gregory Alan Isakov">Gregory Alan Isakov</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:4GhlwQ4mxyuwgeOiuWePZl" data-name="Alice Kristiansen">Alice Kristiansen</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:4CvZd3qzC2HbLxAoAEBRIL" data-name="Benjamin Gibbard">Benjamin Gibbard</a> along with her close family and friends. She used to sit on the stairs of her older brothers room and listen to him play <a href="spotify:track:451GvHwY99NKV4zdKPRWmv" data-name="Banana Pancakes">Banana Pancakes</a> and <a href="spotify:track:3kZC0ZmFWrEHdUCmUqlvgZ" data-name="I Will Follow You into the Dark">I Will Follow You into the Dark</a>. Which were the first songs she learned when she bought her first guitar after receiving her first pay check from her first job.
She is now performing at the Water Lantern Festival in cities throughout the United States and venues in and around Wichita and Kansas City. She plans to continue writing and is currently working on an upcoming EP.
