Ellie Thomas is a Sussex based singer-songwriter, captivating audiences with her piano compositions.

Getting outstanding reviews on her Debut single ‘Confused Melody’ - an instrumental piano piece, emanating classical and ragtime influences. Confused Melody is a track from Ellie's EP, 'Helping Hand', a collection of compositions that explore the internal processing of challenging emotions surrounding gender dysphoria. Ellie describes it as depicting emotional changes, with a moment towards the end which indicates a move towards a more positive outlook on life.

Ellie has been exploring piano genres, such as ragtime, classical and jazz, since the beginning of 2024, and has written her own compositions in this style. She wrote an album of instrumental pieces that released in February 2025.

Ellie loves to write using the piano, showing emotion through the music rather than using words. “Writing music gives me an outlet to my emotions. I like to sit at my piano each day, and just make something up. Sometimes, I get nothing from it and I move on, but then one day, I’ll get something like ‘Confused Melody’.”
