Born Neville Ashton Palmer, aka NAP, as many like to call him, is a producer/songwriter based in the US. He was born January 21, 1978 in Kingston, Jamaica and attended Donald Quarry High School and KTHS before migrating to Philadelphia, PA.
In 2004, he founded NAP Musiq Productions and began showcasing his talent when he started making beats professionally as a self-taught drummer/musician. His first break came in 2005, when Palmer and O. Thomas reproduced Bryan Adams hit single "In Heaven". This reggae version was selected for VP Record's Strictly The Best Album 32, which was voted onto the top 10 chart in Japan as well as numerous charts around the world. In 2006, he produced Passion Riddim, his first riddim compilation album featuring some of reggae/dancehall's hottest artists such as Capleton, Turbulance, Richie Spice, Luciano and Chuck Fenda just to name a few. Selected and distributed by VP Records, the album was a huge success for his label. In January 2008, Palmer released yet another riddim compilation, this time titled "Spotcheck Riddim" again with very well-known artistes such as Beenie Man, Kiprich, Pinchas, Turbulance and others.
Over the years, Palmers’ strong love for reggae music has driven him from the production room into the recording booth. Now recording and performing as "Elliven", he has written and produced his debut single "Yu Luk Good" which got much attention in Jamaica and throughout the Caribbean. (Read more bio)
