'No Good' is the title of Elly-May Barnes debut With a lifelong love of writing and performing music, her debut solo album, No Good began taking shape behind the scenes for many years, writing at her father’s studio with friends like Davey Lane, Jackson Freud , <a href="spotify:artist:2VGE8KFAYM3yE0qOsDGf6t" data-name="Shane Nicholson">Shane Nicholson</a> and the enviable list of collaborators you’ll find in the album’s tracklisting; as well as quietly working on her own material as her vision took shape.
It brings together an A-Team of Elly-May’s family (eg. <a href="spotify:artist:4rCLXPaqaUjGa1aHDwkviR" data-name="Diesel">Diesel</a> ) , loved ones and huge musical influences - who just happen to be the crème de la crème of the Australian and New Zealand music industry. It’s extremely fitting that the people who have influenced Elly throughout her life were all by her side to bring the vision of her unique debut to life.
Elly-May’s music mates of many years have come together to work on and record her debut album, including Charley Drayton, Jack Moffitt, <a href="spotify:artist:3o3TmWuwKXCl6v4YnCvoNF" data-name="Clayton Doley">Clayton Doley</a> and brother Jackie Barnes, just to name a few.
