Having begun her journey as a performer from the age of seven, prodigious Jakarta-born Indonesian singer/songwriter Elisakh “Els” Hagia has since carved an extraordinary career with achievements spanning from gymnastics and modelling to acting and music, with the latter being her first and foremost love.
Armed with a voice like an angel and songwriting skills that would put any grown-up musicians to shame, the now-14-year-old was previously signed by Gushcloud International, which saw her move to Los Angeles, USA, where she worked with the likes of rappers Silento and Zay Hilfigerrr.
Currently, Els has reinvented herself as an indie-folk starlet, with the genre allowing her more freedom to articulate and give voice to her stories. Her latest single “My Expectations” showcases Els’ wholehearted commitment to her genre of choice, with her soaring vocals and catchy melodies front and centre.
