Em Appelgren is a rising star from Orebro, Sweden. 2014 was the year when her debut single ’Taking Back My Heart’ quickly became #1 on both Swedish iTunes Chart and iTunes Dance Chart. The same year her 2nd single 'Rising In Love' went #3 on Swedish iTunes Chart and received great reviews.
In 2016, the Dance-duo "Soundstreamers" together with Em released the Dance/EDM track ’In The Zone’ .The song was a success and grabbed a 33 place on Spotify Viral Chart in Germany. The song has over 250k streams as of today.
Her 4th single ’Game Over’ also became #1 on Swedish iTunes Chart. The song had a different sound then her previous releases - electro pop and melancholy beat.
Her release ’Moves Like A Shadow’ released on 25 January 2019 and the song had the same electro pop vibe as her latest single.
On 29 May 2020 she'll release a brand new single together with Albanian rising artist Rod called "you. me. now.".
