EMA is an upcoming Canadian singer/songwriter who has been singing and performing since she was 9 years old. After posting a viral Tik Tok video, her streams soared. She went from a couple hundred streams to 100,000 on her single, <a href="spotify:track:1v2QD6KwG8r9xudp5Mg9Gg" data-name="Honey">Honey</a>. Honey was distributed to a whole new fanbase when a member of Korean boyband, <a href="spotify:artist:3Nrfpe0tUJi4K4DXYWgMUX" data-name="BTS">BTS</a>, added it to their ‘Top Favourites’ playlist. She continued to release covers, including <a href="spotify:track:4xqrdfXkTW4T0RauPLv3WA" data-name="Heather">Heather</a> by Conan Gray. The piece was added to Spotify’s Top Viral 50 Playlist, passing Conan Gray himself. The piece is written about two lovers who felt distance from each other because they couldn’t express their love the way the other wanted. It explores the 5 love languages and how important it is to be with someone who respects your love language.
