Emanuele Bodo was born in 1983 in a small town in northern Italy and started playing electric guitar at the age of twelve. After over twenty years of music study, fascinated by modern djent solutions and guitar shredders, but at the same time with a certain nostalgia for the great progressive masterpieces of the past years, where awesome melodic openings and classical harmonies had their own space, he decided to start working on his first solo album.
He relied on the precious help of his great friend and drummer Mattia Garimanno, having the two several things in common, especially the passion for progressive rock and metal and lot of experience both live and in recording studio.
In a couple of years the keyboardist and orchestrator Davide Cristofoli, already known in the Italian symphonic metal scene, joined the project along with Carlo Ferri with his deep bass sound.
Excited after listening to the raw compositions the new band started challenging recording sessions and brought to the light the seven tracks of the album in early 2019. Produced by Emanuele Bodo and Ænima Recordings 'Unsafe Places' is a work without any compromise, simply dictated by the compositional and artistic inspiration of each member of the band; although the tracks are particularly complex and varied, the harmony of the musicians has allowed us to create a compact and homogeneous sound.
