Hungry for the revival of genuine Indie/Hybrid Rock known as Emerald Sunday, the 6 piece bring their own twist on classic rock ‘n’ roll, mixing in melodic hooks and memorable chorus’s.
With a well-rounded line-up made up of vocalist Mike Martin, guitarist Matt Fleming, writer/guitarist Alan Hunter, drummer Mike Juraszewski, Scott Crawford on bass and Andrew Taylor on keys, Emerald Sunday have spent the last few years building their fanbase by performing with popular acts such as Primal Scream, Big Country, Embrace, Example, From The Jam and more.
After reaching success with a No.1 hit on the Scottish New Music Chart with the track “Streets of Harlem”, the band then teamed up with producer Richard McNamara of Embrace for their latest LP ‘Willow. The album received 5 star reviews and went on to hit number 4 on the Amazon album chart as well as charting in itunes. Lead single ‘What becomes of You’ was added to a playlist on Planet Rock and stayed there for 5 weeks on rotation, the track also featured on Amazing Radio and Janice Longs BBC Radio Wales show.
2023 -
Psychos and war machines was released mid April, and is only a slice of what ms to come. With a standing ovation at the Cavern Club it’s no wonder that people are taking noticed of these boys. Writing anthem songs that are impossible to get out your head.
