Born from the raw, punk-infused, death-laced grindcore of 2001, Emetica evolved through Relapse-style manic outbursts (2003-2005), during which they shared the stage with Malignant Tumor, Mass Genocide Process, and Container Crusties from Hell, among countless local acts. Lyrically, their music has always explored the depths of human depravity through razor-sharp satire.
Following a long hiatus (2005-2012), a new lineup emerged, bringing Emetica back to the stage alongside Exhumed, Archagathus, Six Brew Bantha, and others. In 2015, Emetica recorded their debut album Escatolorgy—released via Pathologically Explicit Recordings in 2016.
Now, after yet another stretch of setbacks and genuine obstacles, Emetica rises once more. Fueled by Dr. Skrotum’s twisted artistic vision, both lyrically and artistically, Shit Feasts, Meth Priests, Violent Thugs, Designer Drugs is a filthy, uncompromising slab of grind. This LP finally sees the light of day, and we couldn’t be more proud. Enjoy the sickness!
