Emily Marques

Emily Marques is a passionate Singer-Songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario. Her music career began at the age of 12, when she began writing her own music and performing at numerous events, in front of hundreds of her peers. In 2015, Emily began working on her first single “Old School Love,” which was reviewed as the Single of the Week by Cultured Vultures online platform. This expanded her music career as it gave her the opportunity to do session vocals, recording harmonies for an up and coming artists’ EP. This studio experience, as well as progressive co-writing, lead her to work with Phoenix Keyz, an award winning record producer from the UK. In 2016, Phoenix remixed “Old School Love,” and had Emily co-write and perform his album titled track: “When We Were Young.” In the following years, Emily continued to refine her songwriting and performing capabilities by performing her newest songs. While these skills improved, she began collaborating with local artists and created the songs, “Hold You,” “Voodoo” and her single: “The Start.” Soon after, she and co-creator, Chromak, received huge success on their 2018 track: “Love Me,” which has currently reached over 5.2 million streams on its YouTube lyric video, released by Taz Network. Her newest single release with Adrian X and Liz Lokrey called She Glows is available on all streaming platforms. Emily hopes to continue to create and release music that is relatable to those who hear it.
