Emily Sophia is a singer songwriter from Southern California. Her love for music and performing started at the age of 3 when her grandma would play movies of Shirley Temple and Julie Andrews. Ever since she could hold a pen, she liked to write stories, poems, and paint and she tries to incorporate these elements into her songwriting. Emily is a pop singer who is also influenced by folk and soft rock. Her favorite artists include Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Lorde, and Phoebe Bridgers. She is inspired by their ability to have strong storytelling while also having a catchy beat, and keeps this in mind when writing her own music. Her mission is to fully transport the listener into the world of her songs sonically and lyrically. She wants the listeners to be fully immersed by placing themselves and their own experiences into her music.
