Emma Grant is a singer songwriter from Liverpool, UK. She lives with her husband Tom and three young children. She grew up listening to Céline Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Joan Baez , Bob Dylan, Enya, Simon & Garfunkel, Alanis Morissette and The Cranberries, to name a few. She has always enjoyed music of any genre that invokes passion and where you can hear a story being told and feel it's emotion.
Although it was always a passion, Emma didn't fully pursue music until she was 23, when she moved away from Liverpool to attend music college and began to write and perform her own songs. She started to gig regularly as a solo singer-songwriter, then later as lead singer of jazz funk band 'One Nation'.
In 2010, Emma put music aside while she took time out to get married, start a family and lead an Eden team with her husband, which combined her faith with social action. Ten years later, she released her album entitled Influencer, which was an amalgamation of lots of her musical influences.
Inspired by the struggles of lock-down, personal health issues and her motivation to spread a message of hope, Emma has now written and released a new five track EP called 'Friend in the Fire'.
'Influencer' and 'Friend in the Fire' were produced by Dan Stirling @Dan Stirling Audio.
