Emma Longard

Emma Longard is a German recording artist and songwriter from Hamburg, who can be placed somewhere between pop, jazz and blue-eyed soul.

After releasing her debut EP „Elle“ in 2013 and the album „A Million Pieces“ in 2015 and having played countless live-gigs, support-tours and festival appearances, Emma went on hiatus from the spotlight in 2017.

As she returned to the studio in 2021, Emma had learned a lot about herself as an artist, had grown up and developed a new and clear vision for her sound and message.

Her two EPs from that year are called „Quieter Pt. 1 & 2“, the title hinting at Emma’s new focus: To use her music to counterbalance the busy and loud world on- and offline by creating calm, musical havens.

Over time, Emma has played numerous live shows, took the stage at festivals like Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg) and beyond the borders of her home country. Waves Vienna and MusExpo in Los Angeles have been a few of her destinations for showcasing her songs.

After being signed to EMI Publishing/Sony ATV from 2010 to 2017, now Emma Longard is working as an independent artist.

2023 is all about her new album "Lullabies", made with Fabio Niehaus and an EP called "You And I", together with Potsdam-based producer Caro Jordanow. Stay tuned!
