Emma Rosenkranz is a nostalgia hobbyist and sensitive soul. She reaches for words and melodies the way some people reach for old photographs, trying to hold what’s slipping and celebrate what’s stayed. Her work lives in the quiet corners of heartbreak, loss, and those strange little joys that make no sense but keep you going. She writes for the deep feelers, hoping her songs can sit beside someone the way a friend would.
She started writing poems when she was seven. In the last years of her father’s life, he taught her how to play guitar. Music became the thing he left her with: an inheritance she didn’t fully understand until after he passed. At eleven, she wrote her first song. Since then, she has released two albums with over 600K streams and shared her music at live shows across New York, Rhode Island, and Los Angeles with crowds of hundreds.
Her latest release, A Year’s Time, marks her second album, a culmination of experiences and introspections since graduating from Brown University.
