Emma Shirley

Emma grew up on the outskirts of Liverpool, England, surrounded by musical influences from a young age both at home and in the city. Inspired by the vulnerable yet emotionally-charged, storytelling lyrics of <a href="spotify:artist:16oZKvXb6WkQlVAjwo2Wbg" data-name="The Lumineers">The Lumineers</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:74ASZWbe4lXaubB36ztrGX" data-name="Bob Dylan">Bob Dylan</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6QKDcdjtwqu4E7rztEUQu5" data-name="King Charles">King Charles</a>, Emma began to transform her own stories into a new musical expression falling somewhere between indie rock, folk, and country. She has lived in Madrid, Spain since 2017, and has finally gathered enough stories and life lessons of her own to start to put them back into the world.
