Born into a methodist household his Great Grandmother and Mother made sure to instill Heavy Christian values and morals into Mr. Smith. This was a cornerstone of the young mans personality and his musical calling. Especially after being introduced to the youth choir at Zion United Methodist not to far away from his childhood home. This introduction taught him about community and being a part of a team. However, after realizing Mr. Smiths innate ability to sing. He became the talk of the church community, and pushed in front to do whatever solo his heart contended

This love fusion helped him to create the sound that he is known for today. Especially after the death of his mother in 2017 which he states “was a magnetic turning point for my musical ear.” She was a huge benefit in his methodology of singing.
