Steven Sutton, also known as Emory Forbes, was born in Baltimore, MD on February 27, 1990. At 12, Forbes was introduced to the art of hip hop, and he soon began freestyling. Throughout his teenage years, Emory Forbes would release a bunch of singles and in 2013 he would release his biggest single to date, H.A.N. (Hating Ass Nigga). Although H.A.N. was a satire to all the people that have some level of hate, the track itself gained Forbes some local recognition. In 2016, Forbes entered himself in a Baltimore based battle rap event called Be Civil Battles. After a few Baltimore based battles, Emory Forbes was selected to battle in Washington D.C. under the league Capital Battle Grounds. This is where Forbes was able to hone his skills as an artist. Two years of battle rap was enough for Forbes, and in the early half of 2020 he returned to the music industry and dropped Ohio TA. Since then Ohio TA has had over 5000 plays and continues to grow by the day.
