Ricky Manders and Tim Achten, better known as the hardstyle duo Emphasis, are one of the rising talents in the Hard Dance genre. They started playing hardstyle in 2013. In the last couple of years they've played at a lot of festivals like Defqon.1, Intents, Q-Base and they even played in the Ziggodome by winning the producer contest of The Return of Headhunterz. They also hosted their own stage at Stereo Sunday in 2018 for the very first time. After spending time developing their sound, they got a break in 2017 when their first release 'Light It Up' was supported by Brennan Heart (WE R podcast) and Coone (Global Dedication). After that they kept on releasing tracks at labels like Derailed Traxx, Q-Dance NEXT, WE R and even had a release at Barong Family. After this success they decided to work harder and they're now waiting to release lots of more new tracks.
