Empty Files

From the grounds of the unexpected and unpredictable, Empty Files oscillates between electronic, experimental, psychedelic and trip hop genres and the post-industrial aesthetics from the early 90s.

Feature <a href="spotify:artist:54S2qJgxG7n0d0pmJzRgag" data-name="Txufo Wilson">Txufo Wilson</a> , Jose Lastra, Imanol Fortes and Iñigo Benito, and based in Bilbao (Basque Country) Empty Files introduce to us as an experience full of harmonic tensions, bad-sounding utilleria, synthesizers and twisted patterns created from electronic and acoustic elements.

The band, founded by <a href="spotify:artist:54S2qJgxG7n0d0pmJzRgag" data-name="Txufo Wilson">Txufo Wilson</a>, debuted in 2013 with their first self-titled EP. In 2018 they released their first LP <a href="spotify:album:3b7PiJmtUVcYOQHwYZT4yN" data-name="Shadows">Shadows</a>, playing it all over the national scene and they didn&#39;t stop until the arrival of the 2020 pandemic.

In 2021 they released <a href="spotify:album:1vxNCpVWTz1DW9oRLZqurW" data-name="Lost Files">Lost Files</a> through Forbidden Colours (independent label curated by Aitor Etxebarria), a concept album of 8 instrumental tracks.
