Istanbul based guitarist, singer-songwriter.
From the age of 14, Emrah Alpat formed and fronted rock bands in his hometown of Denizli, Turkey. After moving to Istanbul and playing with numerous nationwide acts such as Nev, Göksel and Emre Aydın for close to 20 years, Alpat began releasing his songs that have been accumulating over the years. Spanning more than 20 years of writing songs, the change of tone and style are apparent between the albums. While some songs are immature and childish some are dark and mellow. These are reflections of when and under which circumstances the songs were written - some were written at the age of 14 (Derine) while some were written when he was in this late 30s (Artist).
Still actively working as a guitar player and producer, Emrah Alpat now owns his own record label and is currently working on projects for other artists which will be released under Alpat Music.
