Hailing from the city of Chicago, Scott Kehres is the mind behind Emurse. Known as a “genre-bender,” he merges a variety of sounds from wave, dubstep, world-bass, downtempo, and trap into immersive sonic journeys. As a skilled visual designer, he also creates all of his own artwork and visuals for releases and live sets.
Emurse has collaborated with Trap City, Wakaan, Odyzey, Insomniac Records, Tommy Profitt, Vibe.Digital, Liquid Ritual, and was the winner of Insomniac’s 2022 Discovery Project for Electric Forest. He has shared the stage with artists including Levity, Ravenscoon, Kayzo, Eliminate, Skeler, Super Future, Mr. Carmack, UZ, Muzz, and many more.
