EN ORBITO are Dustin Braden on Guitar and Ziggy Gonzo on Bass for Live performances; music written and composed by Braden and Gonzo during the 2020 pandemic lockdown with Gonzo on Bass, Lead, Rhythm, and Organ with Braden on Lead, Rhythm, Drums and Percussion and with both doing the horn arrangements. The fusion of Neo Afrobeat meets Psychedelic Cumbias to create this funky Afro-Space Disco. They headlined the Cumbia Festival at Hotel Vegas as official SXSW Performers in 2022. 2023 has seen them take a break to record a new record following their debut EP "Rising Future" They are currently an 8 piece band featuring members of other Austin bands such as Golden Dawn Arkestra, Superfonicos and El Combo Oscuro. Their EP was produced by GDA frontman, Topaz McGarrigle and mastered by Eric Wafford. As of April 1, 2023 the band now includes John Dell (percussion) and Nick Tozzo (Drums) from El Combo Oscuro; Phillip McCarthy (lead guitar); Benny Leonard (keys); Joe Woulard (sax) from Antibalas, Black Joe Lewis and Golden Dawn Arkestra; Zol Waterhouse (trombone) from Austin FC. 2023 will see their first full length record come to light as well!
