End of You was formed in 2003 by Jami Pietilä. After their first video and seven-song demo Walking With No One, the band quickly gained attention among gothic metal listeners and signed with Spinefarm Records (Universal).
In November 2005, their debut single Walking With No One reached No. 17 on the Finnish charts and received heavy airplay. It was released in Europe on January 4, 2006, followed by the debut album Unreal on March 29, 2006.
The second album, Mimesis (April 2008), featured the single You Deserve More, produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Apocalyptica). In 2009, the band released their third album, Remains of the Day, with Playground Music.
After headlining Tavastia Rock Club in March 2011, the band took a break after eight years of touring.
End of You reunited in 2017, releasing Stay (Nov 2017), Soul Eater (May 2018), and Bird on the Wire (July 2018). Tyhjä Maa (June 2019) marked their first Finnish-language song, followed by Ikuisessa Meressä (April 2020) and Aika (July 2020).
The new single Too Far Apart was released on February 21, 2025, marking the start of a new era. A new album is coming later this year, bringing fresh energy and the signature cinematic atmosphere End of You is known for.
