DJ, Remixer and Producer, End To End aka Paolo Aliberti has released music on many important dance labels and has also remixed many famous artists and DJs. Paolo began his career as a DJ in the beautiful Italian city of Turin during the late 80s playing many of the first techno records to arrive from overseas. Halfway through the 90’s he built his first recording studio at the back of his record shop, where he began the first of many important collaborations with dance labels such as Media Records, V2 and Time Records. 1982 was the year in which he was introduced to electronic music thanks to the film ‘Escape from New York’ and its now classic soundtrack by John Carpenter. Whilst watching this film he discovered that the music was not only made using guitars, piano’s and string’s but also by an amazing electronic box that generated incredible new sounds, called the synthesizer! Fascinated by this sound, he started a search for similar artists and fell in love with acts such as Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream. By the age of 16, Paolo had started DJ’ing and was already buying the first imported techno vinyl coming from the US, from artists such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson. In the early 90’s he became a professional DJ and his musical choices became more influenced by the sounds coming from Northern Europe, even though his love for Detroit techno was always very strong.
