enjoy hoi polloi is an independent artist from the Greater Boston area. His musical upbringing started with church choirs and piano lessons when he was young, and his musical background has always very diverse - Choral music to heavy metal, hip-hop and R&B to hardcore techno.
His interest in electronic music was kindled in the early 90s by MTV Amp and the soundtrack from the movie Hackers. These early influences included the likes of Orbital, The Prodigy, Moby, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method and other early Electronica heroes. Initially starting out with a Yamaha QY100 sequencer and a Boss SP-202 sampler/pad and a keyboard he spent countless hours programming beats from the backseat of his parents mini-van while on vacation.
Life is for living, music is for enjoying life.
