The “Eoghan The Bard” project was born in 2020, created by Eugenio Cammoranesi, known as Eoghan: a singer-songwriter and composer from Italy, also an environmental hiking guide and archaeologist, passionate about traditions, mythology, and ancient history.
The project is a journey of exploration along "The Bard’s Way”: a path made of sounds, words, and rhythms, pursued through evocative soundscapes using ancient, exotic, and modern instruments. Blending together with the voice, these instruments allow the artist to express himself through songs that tell legends and traditional tales, as well as stories drawn from personal life experiences. His original compositions span a wide range of musical influences, from celtic and medieval music to ethnic and world sounds.
In summer 2023, he released his first solo album, "The Birth of a Bard", marked by an intimate, deep, and melancholic sound, and a narrative that takes the listener on a journey between dreams and reality — a quest for identity, one’s place in the world, and one’s path.
His new album, "The Bard’s Way", was released in August 2025. Created through collaborations with extraordinary musicians, it has a rich, dynamic, and immersive sound, where the power of orchestration blends with ethnic influences from all over the world.
It lays the foundation for the artistic direction the artist will follow in the future: The Bard’s Way, wherever it may lead.
