Embedded by the HC punk DIY scene, late 80's Thrash metal soundscape, shoegaze and desert rock possibilities and the background architecture of experimental metal and rock, Epilepsia D.C melts enigmatic influences in a no way back journey in the name of the sonic experimentation.
Based in Bogotá D.C, Colombia the band has experienced several line-up changes finding different approaches in their audio-view. Today's more stable line up includes long time founder Jerson Guevara on lead vocals and 7 strings rythm guitar(Cadáver, Potrero) Óscar Beleño on unconventional bass (Jack la Bala, Atake Mapalé), Rodrigo Dajer on lead guitar (Unheads, Inri Kanijo), and John Moreno on blasting drums (Atake Mapalé).
Epilepsia D.C is a high risk lab that defies the conventions of the mandatory Colombian metal scene and persues to mark a difference in the typical border of the extreme metal.
