Epoch is a New Zealand expatriate producer, DJ and label owner now based in Melbourne, Australia.
He received early support from Rinse.fm stalwarts Dusk & Blackdown, with tunes featured on Keysound Recordings' This Is How We Roll and Certified Connections compilations.
The last few years this hardworking producer has seen heavy support from DJ Joe Nice, with Gourmet Beats show staple Attraction seeing a release on Innamind Recordings sub-label IMX.
He has played across the UK and US, including the infamous underground NYC bass party RECONSTRVCT in 2014, and the CROSS CLUB in Prague.
Epoch reached a personal milestone when his tune The Ville was featured on the legendary compilation series Tempa Allstars Volume 8.
This was followed by the release of his debut album Badminded on Blacklist in 2015, where he moved away from the usual 140bpm palette. 2018 saw Epoch release a 12” on Blacklist featuring the dread-laden vocal talents of Rider Shafique, and the dance floor-centered 3 track Roacher EP on the flagship Innamind Recordings imprint.
While simultaneously running his own imprint Egyptian Avenue, managing a nightclub, DJing the infamous ONE PUF raves in Melbourne and SUBTLE SOUNDSYSTEM nights in Christchurch; he is considered a bass staple in AUS and NZ.
