epona discovered the thrill of being on stage at age 7 as an actress. While still pursuing her acting career, she is now exploring new avenues with music, specifically indie rock.
epona addresses social issues that are close to her heart such as harassment, rape culture and male violence, which all women have experienced at some point.
Influenced by 90’s and 2000’s alternative rock bands (Radiohead, The Strokes, Mazzy Star), the music is composed in duo with producer Dimitri Eggermont.
After a 1st EP released late 2023 (with 3 singles airplayed on various radio stations in Belgium including Radio2, Classic21) which paved her the way to perform twice at Ancienne Belgique, epona is now working with Mathias Stal (Kids with Buns, Ise) on her 2nd EP, due for release in spring 2025.
