Eric Elias nació en Sabadell (Barcelona) y ha estado ligado a la música desde niño. Tras explorar diversos instrumentos, encontró en el bajo eléctrico su verdadera voz. La iglesia marcó su formación, dándole raíces góspel que hoy definen su sonido.
Desde 2021 estudia Interpretación de Bajo Eléctrico en la ESMUC, profundizando en el jazz y actuando en la escena de Barcelona, en lugares como Jamboree o la Nova Jazz Cava junto a proyectos como Ned Lud, Carmen y María, Faith Collective u Orella d’Ós.
Además de colaborar con coros góspel, lidera su trío de jazz fusión y prepara su primer álbum de música góspel original, donde combina groove, fe y creatividad.
Eric Elias was born in Sabadell (Barcelona) and has been connected to music since childhood. After exploring many instruments, he found his true voice in the electric bass. The church shaped his musical roots, giving him the gospel foundation that defines his sound.
Since 2021, he has studied Electric Bass Performance at ESMUC, diving into jazz and performing in Barcelona’s scene at venues like Jamboree and Nova Jazz Cava with projects such as Ned Lud, Carmen y Maria, Faith Collective, and Orella d’Ós.
Alongside numerous gospel choirs, Eric leads his own jazz fusion trio and is preparing his debut album of original gospel music—a blend of groove, faith, and creativity.
