Erich von K, born in the Netherlands in 1968, started his musical journey in the dance scene in the late 90's when he visited the famous IT club in Amsterdam and where he met Stephen, the resident DJ, who taught him the DJ Skills with vinyl. Erich played several clubs in the Dutch dance scene.
After a break Erich picked up producing around 2008 and started releasing his techno tracks from the year 2015. His first release was on the label Distortus, at that time part of Funk'n Deep, with a strong EP that was received very well. Since then Erich has released originals and remixes on various labels like Voltage Records, Layer 909, Liquify, Bubblejam, Hypnotic Frames Records and many more.
Erich tends to make techno that is the hard driven, underground, warehouse type but occasionally produces techno with melodic influences. Erich is part label owner Layer 909 and of Distortus.
