Formerly of Outlaw/Honky Tonk band The Rhyolite Sound, Erik Alesi is now on his own with an eclectic, more melodic sound. Reminiscent of ELO, Badfinger, Raspberries, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Neil Finn, Elliott Smith, Brendan Benson, and The Wallflowers, he’s blending elements of rock, power pop, baroque, acoustic, and alternative. Attracting an audience that appreciates an emphasis on strong melodies, harmonies, catchy hooks, and atmospheric soundscapes.
“Erik Alesi is flying solo and exploring a power pop-shrouded horizon with “Last Breath”…The song mostly inhabits a romantic vibe with Tom Petty-esque echos. And kudos on marrying a hooky chorus with a lyrical nod to Badfinger.” -Camilla Aisa, Shindig! Magazine
